Every time a gift-giving occasion rolls around, my dad has a tendency to say he doesn't want anything nor does he need anything, but then when the day gets closer, he'll ask jokingly what we got him. Was he actually joking or was he for real? That's always the question that plays on my mind.
Not that we don't get anything for him but it truly questions my choice of gift. For instance, my dad absolutely loves Bounty (the chocolate) which for some reason is getting extremely difficult to find where I live. I searched high and low online so that I could surprise his sweet tooth and probably even his craving for Bounty. I found it and ordered what could have been a six-month supply, but of course, it only lasted a month! I knew he loved it but was that the right choice?
I have a habit of listening and noting what people say they wish they had or wanted so when the occasion comes around, I'd know exactly what to get them. But with my dad, if he wanted or needed something he'll just go and get it!
So what do you get a guy who has everything and wants for nothing?
Well, I have compiled a list of 30+ gift ideas for dad that he may not have thought he wanted but will certainly be obsessed with once he has it.
Whether it's for your dad, father-in-law, grandfather, or even your husband, these gifts cover everything from the basics like grooming kits, plush robes, and slippers to gifts that'll compliment their hobbies.
